Elevating Success UK was nominated for the ‘Community Organisation Award’ with the National Diversity Awards. We received over 150 votes from all of our supporters and this aided us in achieving a place on the shortlist for the final event. The event took place in Liverpool at the Anglican Cathedral on Friday the 16th September 2016. Unfortunately, Elevating Success UK did not win, with the prestigious award going to the AIM Academy. Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience for Andrew Brown and his team to be shortlisted for the award and we are very grateful for your continued support and vow to keep working hard going forward. On Saturday 4th June 2016, we held our first family fun day, where we attracted over 120 people. This event allowed us to introduce ourselves to the local community, letting them know what services we offer and how they can reach us.
The event consisted of information stalls allowing people to; sign-up to apprenticeship programmes and employment support; find out more about family support and training programmes, all while enjoying a BBQ and listening to music. We also had face painting, a raffle, a bouncy castle and more.
